Arguments put forward to justify takeover of Russian assets in Armenia are ‘frankly ridiculous,’ says Sergey Shoigu.

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu described the treatment of Russian businesses in Armenia, where Russian investments amount to billions of dollars, as “a raider takeover.”

Speaking at a meeting of the presidium of the Security Council’s Scientific and Expert Council in Moscow on Thursday, Shoigu said arguments put forward to justify the takeover of the Russian assets in Armenia were “frankly ridiculous.”
