The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and the Coutry Office of Rosatom Corporation in Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on small hydropower projects at the ATOMEXPO 2024 Forum in Sochi.

The agreement was signed by Director General Eugeny Salkov on behalf of Rusatom Service, Minister of Energy Talaibek Ibraev on behalf of the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Director General of Country Office of Rosatom Corporation in Kyrgyzstan Dmitry Konstantinov.

The sides agreed to cooperate in development and implementation of the investment project of construction of small hydropower plants in Kyrgyzstan with capacity under 400 MW.
