No date has been set for a meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

“The next meeting with Armenia’s foreign minister has already been agreed, but its date has not yet been fixed,” Mammadyarov said at a press conference following the sixth meeting with his Turkish and Georgian counterparts in Baku, APA reported.

The issues to be discussed during the meeting are known to all, said Mammadyarov, adding. “The only need is the adoption of a political decision on the basis of which Armenian armed forces should withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani territories.”

The Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers are expected meet as part of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York this month.
