Eleven Myanmar (26 July 2018)
Kyaw Tin, Minister for International Cooperation, received Saleumxay Kommasith, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on July 24. 
 
At the meeting, they discussed matters relating to the enhancement of bilateral cooperation and implementation of MoU on cooperation in electric power sector. 
 
Both sides highlighted matters relating to MoU on cooperation in electric power sector and MoU on Myanmar-Lao Friendship Bridge, trade and investment promotion, bilateral relations including tourism, multifaceted cooperation and enhancement of mutual interests and regional and international affairs.
 
Present on the occasion were officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Construction and the members of Lao delegation.
 
Similarly State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, received Saleumxay Kommasith, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on the same day. 
 
At the meeting, they discussed promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation and matters relating to regional and international cooperation.
