Moscow will host a meeting of Azerbaijani and Russian foreign ministers, Elmar Mammadyarov and Sergey Lavrov, on Jan. 24, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister’s Spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told Trend.

Hajiyev said that the meeting, which will be held in the middle of the day, was planned in December 2016.

He also noted that the two foreign ministers will discuss the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the agreements reached in Vienna and St. Petersburg.

Following the meeting in St. Petersburg, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan confirmed in a joint statement the agreements reached during the Armenian-Azerbaijani summit in Vienna.
