The EAEU member states should preserve everything they have inherited from the USSR, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he spoke at the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum “Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects” in Minsk on 26 June, BelTA has learned.

“We have been talking a lot lately about  turbulence in the world; we hope we will get past it with God's help. If some of us (former Soviet republics) think that they can succeed on their own, reap immediate benefits, they are mistaken. We should not lose the common market that we have inherited from the Soviet Union. The production capacities that we have today are high-tech,” the head of state said.
