Bishkek, Sept.23, 2019. /Kabar/. Last week Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Internal Affairs Kashkar Dzhunushaliyev visited Jalal-Abad Oblast, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The minister met with representatives of the local authorities, local residents, as well held a meeting with the staff of the Interior Ministry's departments, and a number of working meetings on issues, related to ensuring public order and security of the region's residents and combating crime was organized.
In addition, the opening of the village police station (VPS) took place in Terek-Sai village. The event was attended by heads of subdivisions, personnel and veterans of the internal affairs bodies, as well as heads of the region administration and local residents.
Minister Dzhunushaliyev also visited Ala-Buka region, where he got acquainted with the work of the region militia and the conditions of service of employees.
“The main issues, related to ensuring public order and security of the region's residents were touched upon, as well as priorities for activities in the near future were set. In addition, at a meeting with police veterans current issues of activity, the role of veteran movements in the professional, patriotic and moral upbringing of young employees, their contribution to crime prevention were discussed,” the press service of the ministry reported.
The minister criticized the implementation of organizational plans, the work of individual heads of services and units.
At the end of the working visit, Jalal-Abad Oblast Internal Affairs Department hosted a meeting with the participation of heads of services and units and personnel.
“Speaking at the meeting, the head of the ministry noted there are complaints about the work of law enforcement agencies in society. A number of instructions were given to improve the efficiency of the service, and heads of territorial subdivisions were assigned to control the execution of orders. The priority directions of activity of the internal affairs bodies are indicated,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
