The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and Lahore Center for Peace Research co-organized a roundtable on December 11 as part of Kyrgyzstan-Pakistan business forum "Rethinking Silk Road: Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in Time of Connectedness" held in Bishkek.

The main aim of the roundtable was further strengthening and development of cooperation in education and science between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

Several documents were signed at the roundtable, including the following:

1. Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in education and science between the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the University of Health Sciences of Lahore;

2. Memorandum of undersanding between the Ministry of Education and Science and Lahore center for Peace Research;

3. Cooperation agreement in education between the International University of Kyrgyzstan and University of Health Sciences of Lahore;

4. Memorandum of understanding between Kyrgyz Economic University and Lahore Center for Peace Research;

5. Cooperation agreement in education and science between Eurasian International Medical University and University of Lahore;

6. Cooperation agreement in education and science between the Eurasian International Medical University and University of South Asia (Lahore, Pakistan).

The business forum was held at the initiative of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Pakistan and Lahore Center for Peace Reserch.
