Kyrgyzstan introduced a temporary ban on the export of certain types of agricultural products, namely wheat flour and food wheat grain, for a period of 6 months.

The corresponding resolution was signed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov on September 22.

The document reports that this decision was made in order to ensure food security and stabilize market prices for food products.
