On the sidelines of the International Forum in Astana, an Agreement was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Kazakhstan on the establishment and regulation of the activities of an industrial trade and logistics complex (ITLC) in the area of the Ak-Tilek and Karasu road checkpoints.

The press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic said that from the Kyrgyz side, the agreement was signed by Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev and form the Kazakh side byDeputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin.

An agreement on the creation of new industrial and logistics complexes was reached following the mutual visits of the heads of state and the meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh Intergovernmental Council, held on April 29, 2022.
