KYRGYZSTAN ADOPTS MAIN DIRECTIONS OF INDUSTRIAL COOPERATION WITHIN EAEU UNTIL 2025

For 100 days of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan for the period from Oct. 12, 2021 to Jan. 19, 2022, the main directions of industrial cooperation until 2025 were adopted within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the press service of the Cabinet said.

The goal of industrial cooperation within the EAEU is defined as the acceleration and increase of sustainability of industrial development, based on effective and mutually beneficial cooperation of member states in building a modern intelligent, globally competitive EAEU economy.

In addition, a decision was made on duty-free import of white sugar for domestic consumption and raw cane sugar intended for industrial processing in the total volume of 70 thousand tons from third countries in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic on a temporary basis, until Aug. 31, 2022.
