"We must show determination in solving the problem of external debt," President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said speaking in the Parliament.

Addressing the deputies, the president noted that there is a big problem: the peak of payments on the country's external debt and finding sources of financing.

“Fate decreed that this big problem fell on my term. According to previous data, this year we need to pay 23 billion soms on external debt, next year - 25 billion soms. Over the next 10 years, we will have to pay off the debts that we have accumulated in 30 years. If we don't pay, as we know, the country's independence will be in jeopardy.
