Kazakhstan has taken over chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization from Belarus since January 1, 2024.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed several priority areas to focus the Organization’s activity during the Kazakh chairmanship during the November expanded meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Minsk, Belarus.
