The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, presented his vision for Kazakhstan’s future under the theme “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism.” The address outlined the nation’s key development goals, emphasizing sustainable socio-economic progress.

A significant announcement was the upcoming nationwide referendum on October 6 regarding the construction of a nuclear power plant. President Tokayev described the referendum as a significant step in Kazakhstan’s national dialogue and a demonstration of the “listening state” concept. “This referendum will serve as a vivid example of our new socio-political culture and the implementation of new standards for key state decisions,” he stated.

The President highlighted recent legislative achievements, noting the passage of 102 laws during the latest parliamentary session. These laws address critical issues, including human trafficking, child protection, and the enhancement of penalties for violence against women and children.
