Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani on Tuesday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing relations with the United Nations.

In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Prime Minister’s Media Office said that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani today received the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Iraq, Mohammed El Hassan.”

The meeting reviewed the overall areas of cooperation between Iraq and the various UN programs operating in the country across different development sectors.
