Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani, on Sunday, directed the establishment of an Iraqi hospital in Gaza.

The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met on Sunday the Iraqi doctor Mohammed Taher Abu Ragheef, known as the “Ambassador to Humanity.”

The statement read “Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the humanitarian and moral significance of Dr. Abu Ragheef’s efforts in response to the tragedy in Gaza, describing them as a source of pride for all Iraqis. He highlighted that his actions embody the values and principles that define the Iraqi people’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.”
