Iraq's Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday the arrival of a security delegation headed by Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah to the site of the criminal incident in the Zighitoun area of Kirkuk.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, arrived, at the head of a security delegation, to the site of the criminal incident in the area of "Zaghitoun" within the Kirkuk operations sector."

"The delegation included the deputy chief of staff of the army for operations, the commander of the ground forces and the director of military intelligence," it said.
