The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ankara, Majid Al-Lajmawi, affirmed on Monday that Iraq has shouldered significant burdens and responsibilities on behalf of the international community, particularly regarding the transfer of terrorists from Syrian prisons, stressing that “the current stage requires international support for Iraq.”

Al-Lajmawi met with the Turkish Minister of Defense, Yaşar Güler, in the presence of the Iraqi Military Attaché in Turkey, Major General Khalil Kamal Al-Zubaidi, at the Turkish Ministry of Defense headquarters in Ankara, according to a statement from the Iraqi Embassy in Ankara, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
