Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin has said that relations between Russia and Armenia are becoming “more mature,” but advancing them requires effort from both sides.

Kopyrkin emphasised that while ties are evolving, challenges remain, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

“This does not mean that all problems are solved, or that there are no disagreements or misunderstandings. These concern very important national interests, including economic and social issues. Discussions are ongoing. This is normal. The main thing is that there must be movement from both sides. The current metaphor of a tango is apt — for a tango, two are needed,” he said.
