Transition to digital technologies to create a common transport space in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was discussed by representatives of relevant agencies at a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) said.

The meeting was held on Nov.1 under the chairmanship of EEC Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Arzybek Kozhoshev.

Thus, representatives of Kazakhstan proposed a project to simplify cargo transportation in the region of Central Asia, the Trans-Caspian route and the countries of Transcaucasia, which was launched in May this year on the route China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan (Southern Transport Corridor).
