Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov discussed bilateral cooperation in the framework of the CIS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, prospects of partnership in different spheres during a phone conversation held on April 28.

They discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian spheres, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Lavrov and Umurzakov exchanged views about progress of implementation of the agreements reached during visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow in November 2021.
