In Armenia, the Dashnaktsutyun and Armenian Renaissance parties have refused to participate in the elections of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the press services of political associations report.

"Analyzing the unexpectedly low results of the Dashnaktsutyun party, after consultation with the committees of Yerevan's administrative districts, the Yerevan City Committee of Dashnaktsutyun does not consider it advisable to participate in the elections of the Council of Elders of the capital," Aravot cites Dashnaktsutyun’s message.

The party explained that the priority task for today is to analyze the results of the April 2 parliamentary elections and take appropriate decisions.
