A delegation from the Iraqi Parliament, headed by the head of the Iraqi-Turkish Friendship Committee, MP Jabbar al-Kinani, arrived on Tuesday in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on an official visit to discuss enhancing parliamentary cooperation with Türkiye .

“The visit came in response to an invitation from the head of the Turkish-Iraqi Friendship Committee in the Turkish Parliament, MP Muhammad Mufid Aydin,” the media department of the Parliament said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

“The Iraqi delegation was received upon arrival in Ankara by a member of the Turkish-Iraqi Friendship Committee, MP Farouk Qalaj, along with the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Turkey, Majid al-Lajmawi,” the statement said.
