AZERBAIJANI EMBASSY RELEASES STATEMENT ON INCIDENT BETWEEN ARMENIANS, AZERBAIJANIS IN MOSCOW

Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Russia released a statement in connection with the latest incident between the groups of Azerbaijani and Armenian youth during the march held by the "Immortal Regiment" movement in Moscow on May 9.
The statement says the provocation was aimed at instigating hostility between the two nations, the embassy told APA.
It is noted that in order to prevent similar incidents in the future, Ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu held talks with Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the leadership of Moscow city and other federal structures.
At the same time, the embassy stressed that it is constant contact with the Azerbaijani victims of the incident.
