Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said he discussed the political cooperation and security with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Mammadyarov made the remarks at a joint press conference in Baku July 15.

He added that the sides also discussed the ways to resolve the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“I informed my colleague about the talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict’s settlement,” Mammadyarov added. “As a leading country in the region and as a member of the OSCE Minsk Group, Turkey must be aware of the developments in the conflict’s settlement.”
