Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has expressed condolences to Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain.

“We were deeply saddened by the news of heavy casualties as a result of an explosion in the Lahore city park,” said President Ilham Aliyev’s message.

“We resolutely condemn terror, which has become an evil, and we are extremely outraged by this horrible tragedy, and fully support the fight against terrorism,” he added.

“On the occasion of this tragedy, on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deep condolences to you, the bereaved families and the loved ones of those who died, and also wish the injured the swiftest possible recovery,” the president said.
