Having met with the President Putin, John Kerry claimed that the US started realizing decisions of the Russian leader after the terror acts in Brussels better, as well as how to act further, the Secretary of State added. Is it a reassuring statement? Will Moscow and Washington be able to cooperate in fight against the ISIS?

Sergey Mikheev, political scientist:

"Moscow and Washington will be able to cooperate in fight against the ISIS, but the matter is that it will probably not bring any other progress within the Russian-American relations. The reason is simple, the Americans are ready to cooperate only where it's profitable. But they are not ready at all to take into account interests of someone else in return, including the Russian ones. We've been there many times. For example, we cooperated with them quite actively, when the operation in Afghanistan began. We did not only cooperated, but also helped them very seriously. However, we got no attention to our interests in return. And unfortunately, it's a regular practice of the Americans with all the other countries of the world."
