Armenian Ambassador to the Netherlands Tigran Balayan held a meeting with Advisor to the Dutch Prime Minister on foreign policy and defense issues David Van Vel, MFA press service reported.

David Van Vel highlighted friendly nature of the relationship and the tendency of their development.

Ambassador Balayan noted that Armenia and the Netherlands have experience of effective cooperation, and one of the goals of his mission is to stimulate trade and economic relations.

He also announced the intention of the Armenian authorities to hold the upcoming elections at the highest level, in accordance with European standards.

The two discussed a number of issues of bilateral relations and the international agenda.
