Armenia’s acting defense minister Davit Tonoyan paid on November 1 a working visit to Lebanon, spokesperson for the DM Artsrun Hovhannisian says.

In the airport the acting minister was welcomed by the Defense Minister of Lebanon Yacoub Sarraf.

On November 2 Tonoyan visited the Lebanese Defense Ministry, conducted a working meeting with the minister.

During the meeting the parties discussed a number of issues on cooperation in implementation of joint programs addressed to regional and international security.

At the end of the meeting the two ministers signed agreement on military cooperation.

Davit Tonoyan then headed to the venue of deployment of Armenian peacekeepers.
