Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government programme sets out plans to sign a peace treaty with Baku and reopen the land border with Türkiye.

Armenia plans to normalise relations with Azerbaijan and Türkiye under the government’s 2026-2031 programme presented by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to the document published on Thursday.

With Azerbaijan, the government plans to continue work on delimiting the countries’ shared border and institutionalise peace through a peace treaty and other relevant legal agreements, according to the programme unveiled ahead of parliamentary debates.
