Armenia is ready to establish diplomatic relations with Turkey but without any pre-conditions relating to Nagorno Karabakh, Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a news conference with foreign journalists, TASS reports.

“We are ready to establish direct relations with Turkey without pre-conditions and hope that Turkey will have same position. But the relations with Turkey are tied with Nagorno Karabakh issues, with a third country. I mean Azerbaijan,” he said.

Pashinyan also stressed that Armenia is CSTO member and does not seek to become NATO member but will maintain relations with the alliance.

“We are in CSTO. We are partners of Russia and the EU, and we are not under the influence of anyone,” Pashinyan said.
