During the meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia in Yerevan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia "is deeply interested in achieving new results in relations with Georgia and building a common vision of strategic development”.

“If I am asked about the achievements of my 1.5-year term, the first thing I am going to say is that Armenia took relations with Georgia to a new level. At the same time, I am certain that bilateral cooperation will go much further in development thanks to our efforts,” said Pashinyan.

Giorgi Gakharia described discussions with Nikol Pashinyan as productive.

“They concerned the historical values held by our two countries and the people who live there,” noted Gakharia.

The parties attached importance to prospects of further development of transport connection.

Both Pashinyan and Gakharia highlighted the importance of the efforts aimed at improvement of infrastructure, particularly in terms of renovation of Gogavan-Guguti and Bavia-Ninotsminda roads.
