“It is hard to say how far the U.S.-Russia tensions will go and how the relations between the two states will impact the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In any case, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have always reached a consensus regarding the NK conflict settlement,” Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Arman Navasardyan said at a news conference on Tuesday.

Mr. Navasardyan added that the Armenian diplomacy faces difficult challenges at the moment and it must be more flexible to handle the current situation with minimal casualties.

The Ambassador is convinced the Armenian diplomacy has had two major gaps in the past 25 years. The first one refers to the country’s failure to open an Embassy of Israel to Armenia, while the second one is related to leaving Artsakh out of the negotiation process.

 “If it is hard to fill the second gap, the first one is relatively easy to plug. Israel is a state which we can benefit from in a number of spheres – IT, medicine, assimilation of the migration prevention model, and the others” the speaker highlighted.
