Speaker of the Parliament Mohammed Al-Halbousi received on Wednesday his Jordanian counterpart Ahmed Al-Safadi at the Parliament building.

The Office of the Speaker of the Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Speaker of the Parliament Mohammed Al-Halbousi received this morning, his Jordanian counterpart Ahmed Al-Safadi and the parliamentary delegation accompanying him in the Parliament building in the center of Baghdad."

It is noteworthy mentioning that the Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, arrived in Baghdad yesterday, at the head of a parliamentary delegation to discuss strengthening parliamentary cooperation between Iraq and Jordan to serve common causes.
