When entering the Kyiv startup Dwarf Engineering, our eyes are blindfolded before we can step inside. For security reasons, we are not allowed to see the employees’ faces. A few minutes later, we are led blind into a small room where people in balaclavas are assembling motherboards and other electronics into a small device for drones. The connected components finally end up in plastic boxes, which are being produced non-stop by four 3D printers in the corner.
