On 17 December 2020, AVİM organized a webinar titled “How Was Anatolia's Physical Connection And Access To Azerbaijan And Central Asia Blocked In Eurasia? What Happened In Zengezur And Nagorno Karabakh?” The webinar, at which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Asker (Head of the International Relations Department at Karabük University) and AVİM Analyst Tutku Dilaver were the speakers, was moderated by AVİM Advisor Ambassador (R) Yiğit Alpogan.
The speakers analyzed the Zengezur and Nagorno Karabakh issues and the relationship between these two issues from historical and geopolitical perspectives. One of the main points that the speakers emphasized was the problematic of the connectivity between Anatolia and Central Asia.
