19 January marks the anniversary of the heinous assassination of Hrant Dink, a Turkish citizen of Armenian origin and a prominent journalist.

Dink is known and remembered for his acknowledgement of the necessity of normalization of relations between Türkiye and Armenia, and Turks and Armenians. To this end, he was a staunch supporter of the two countries’ and peoples’ direct initiatives, avoiding foreign or third party interventions.

We hope that his dream will come to fulfillment with the normalization process that has started between Türkiye and Armenia.
