TIME TO PROVIDE HUMANITARIAN AID TO AZERBAIJA, SEND YOUR LETTER TO THE LEGISLATORS

Dear Friend,

This fall Azerbaijan, a long-standing U.S. and NATO ally, liberated much of its territory in Karabakh region that has been under illegal occupation by Armenia, a Russia and Iran ally, since 1994. This is a good thing not just for Azerbaijan, but for the U.S., as well as for Georgia, Ukraine, Israel and for NATO ally Turkey. The loser in this is universally recognized to be Iran. The country most relieved of financial burden that was suffocating it, is Armenia – now they can spend money on their own development instead of prolonging occupation. This change on the ground should gain support from the State Department and the Administration for four basic reasons:

  1. Justice and fairness have been served;
  2. Four UN Security Council resolutions, 822, 853, 874 and 884, the U.S. had voted for, mostly fulfilled;
  3. Territorial integrity of an allied state restored;
  4. Some 800,000 IDPs get to return home and enjoy dignified life and pursuit of happiness.

Please send this letter to Secretary Mike Pompeo, members of House of Representatives and Senate urging them to provide financial assistance to Azerbaijan in order to rebuild and restore infrastructure in the occupied areas and facilitate the process of return of Azerbaijani IDPs to their homes.

Thank you.
