On 24 January 2019, the conference titled “Energy Security of Turkey” was held at AVİM. At the conference, former co-ordinator of OSCE Economic & Environmental Activities and retired Under-secretary of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Dr. H. Yurdakul Yiğitgüden made a presentation on Turkey’s energy security and relevant policies. In his presentation, Dr. Yiğitgüden discussed Turkey’s policy to diversifying its energy supplies, and related to this, its course of action to strengthen its economic and political ties with the energy supplier countries.

The conference that was attended by the representatives of the foreign missions in Ankara, academics and researchers was concluded by the Q&A session.
