On 29 March 2019, a conference on the topic of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Yerzhan Ashikbayev as the speaker was held at AVİM. During the conference, H.E. Ashikbayev was accompanied by Kazakhstan’s Ambassador in Ankara H.E. Abzal Saparbekuly.

During this speech, H.E. H.E. Ashikbayev relayed to the audience his knowledge on Kazakhstan’s foreign policy priorities, Kazakhstan’s efforts at maintaining and strengthening the international system’s stability, and the transition period taking place in Kazakhstan’s after the resignation of Nursultan Nazarbayev as the President of Kazakhstan. The conference concluded following a question and answer session.
