On 22 May 2019, a round-table meeting was organized at the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran and the Head of Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) H.E. Dr. Seyyed Kazem Sajjadpour, Ambassador of Iran in Ankara H.E. Mouhammad Farazmand, and scholars conducting research on Iran and regional issues. The following topics were discussed during the meeting: inter-think tank relations between Turkey and Iran, Iran’s self-perception and foreign policy objectives in a changing international order, Iran-US relations in the context of Iran’s nuclear energy program and its regional activities, and developments and challenges awaiting Turkey and Iran within their geo-political location.
