The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, and German Ambassador Martin Jaeger discussed, on Sunday, completing the procedures for signing a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi and German judiciaries.
 
A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council-SJC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The President of the SJC, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received German Ambassador Martin Jaeger."
 
The statement added, "The two parties discussed the stages of completing the necessary procedures to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi and the German judiciaries."
