After violence erupted in northern Kosovo following a police raid, Serbian leaders met Kosovo Serb representatives, and Kosovo leaders defended the police's action against what appeared to be EU criticism of 'unilateral action'.

Following violence in Serb-majority northern Kosovo on Wednesday, after Kosovo police conducted raids against suspected smugglers, the US called for calm, the EU criticized a “unilateral action”, Serbia condemned Kosovo, and Kosovo leaders defended the police.
