In the city of Prizren in Kosovo, where Turkish is the official language, Turkish was not included in the election documents.

The general elections held in Kosovo on February 9, 2025 witnessed a violation of rights against the Turkish language. The election documents prepared in Prizren, where Turkish is accepted as the official language, did not include Turkish. The information was made on February 9, 2025 by the Kosovo Democratic Turkish Party (KDTP) Parliamentary Candidate Fidan Brina Jılta via her official social media account.

Brina Jılta shared a photo showing that Turkish is not included in the posters and informative texts for voters, which must be in Turkish according to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
