President Ersin Tatar received Michael Tatham, the newly accredited British High Commissioner to the Greek Cypriot Administration, and discussed recent developments in the Cyprus issue. Tatar extended his best wishes to Tatham for his new role.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the meeting focused on the latest developments regarding the Cyprus issue and the current situation.

The meeting was also attended by President Tatar’s Special Representative Güneş Onar, Coordinator for Confidence-Building Measures and Bilateral Technical Committees Seniha Birand Çınar, Legal Advisor Sülen Karabacak, Special Advisor on International Relations and Diplomacy Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Işıksal, and Foreign Press Officer Kerem Haser.
