On Sunday another meeting was held between the leaders of the opposition parties and the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Georgia. The meeting at the Holiday Inn Hotel was attended by the representatives of parliamentary and non-parliamentary oppositions, including independent lawmakers.

EU ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell said talks between the opposition and the authorities were difficult yesterday, but he expressed hope that a fourth round of the negotiations would also take place.

“Yesterday's talks were quite difficult. Most importantly, all parties are eager to continue seeking agreement to identify the areas that can be discussed. We, as mediators, are trying to find ways to continue it and then to advise the parties to hold another round of talks" - Carl Hartzell told reporters.

So far, no result has been achieved in the framework of the meetings.
