Dacic has been invited by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh.

During the visit, Dacic will also meet with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and with representatives of Vietnamese business circles. 
This visit is "an opportunity to exchange views on the overall bilateral relations of the two countries and on possibilities for enhancing cooperation in all areas of common interest," the Serbian government said. 
The emphasis will be on "intensifying high-level political dialogue, developing economic cooperation, strengthening cooperation in multilateral forums and exchanging views on the current international issues of common interest."
