Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), paid a working visit to Mongolia on 17-20 March 2025 upon the invitation of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This historic visit marked the first-ever trip of an OTS Secretary General to Mongolia, highlighting the growing engagement between Mongolia and the OTS Member States.

Throughout the visit, Secretary General Omuraliev held high-level meetings with Mongolian officials, diplomats, and scholars to discuss avenues for enhanced cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and academic fields.

Secretary General Omuraliev began his visit with a meeting with Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The discussions focused on strengthening Mongolia-OTS cooperation, emphasizing shared historical bonds and deep-rooted relations.
