Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani agreed Thursday to postpone the first Russian-Arab Summit originally set for next week in Moscow, due to the evolving situation surrounding US President Donald Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan, according to the Kremlin.

Putin and Al-Sudani, who currently chairs the Arab League Summit, discussed the start of the plan’s implementation phase in a call, saying that many Arab leaders would find it difficult to travel to Moscow for the Wednesday summit.
