President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in Istanbul.
They hailed the successful development of Azerbaijan-US bilateral relations in a variety of fields, including the political and energy spheres.
They discussed the issues relating to the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. President Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed Azerbaijan's stance on the settlement of the dispute and informed Rex Tillerson about Armenia's recent military provocation on the line of contact.
